Graphic Design

I would call myself an occasional graphic designer. I am comfortable with tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. (even Publisher if I have to).

I have designed several logos for my associated groups. In addition, I am experienced with both layout and end-to-end production of concert flyers, tri-fold brochures, and concert programs.

Logos

Over the years I’ve found myself creating a few logos for my choirs and other endeavors along the way. Below are some of the logos I’ve created. Read more about them and their designs, or click on the images below for more info.

Concert Flyers

Even as print is becoming less of a priority for marketing choral concerts, there is still a need for eye-catching flyers that can be easily distributed, even if mostly electronically. Below are some of the flyers I’ve designed for Summer Fling Singers. If you design concert flyers (or if you are just curious), you might be interested to read more about my approach.

Concert Programs

When I was in high school, I worked on my senior yearbook, and ended up with the thankless job of doing the index. Turns out, I loved all that fine detail work, and the challenge of laying it out in a pleasing manner. Which probably explains why I enjoy doing concert programs....

Tri-Fold Brochures

Tri-fold brochures provide more extensive information than a simple flyer. I have produced tri-folds as season overviews for Sacred Music Chorale, as well as for general information about the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium. I’ve written up a few of my thoughts on brochure design if you’re interested.
